Happening February 16-17, 2023, students can meet with the S. Watts teams during the CIAC Career Fair at Texas A&M. Our team looks forward to talking with students about employment and internship opportunities at S. Watts Group, in addition to talking trade.

At S. Watts Group, several of our team members are proud Aggies! As former students ourselves, we prioritize providing learning opportunities for current students in the Department of Construction Science through our construction internship program. We invite several Texas A&M students to be our 12th man and join our team throughout the year to gain hands-on experience in the Greater Austin Metropolitan Area.
Join Our Construction Internship Program
For several years now, S. Watts Group has provided students attending Texas universities the opportunity to learn hands-on in the commercial construction industry. As we enter the 2023 school year, we hope to continue the tradition of welcoming students to join our team through our Construction Internship.
The Construction Internship at S. Watts is open to junior and senior students studying construction management/science courses. Responsibilities include supporting the project management team through file management, document control (including submittals, RFIs, and change orders), and progress reporting.

Quick History of Texas A&M Construction Science
Opening in 1876, Texas A&M University became the state’s first public institution of higher education. The Department of Construction Science at Texas A&M was founded in 1946. Today, the program is one of the largest construction education programs in the nation.
- 1977 – Building Construction Master’s degree program established
- 1981 – Master in Construction Management introduced
- 1983 – Department of Building Construction renamed to Department of Construction Science
